Last Friday, settled at 1:04 AM.
Seven regulars, three rebuys, one spilled drink, zero arguments about the money. This is the table after the last hand, with the bank that ran underneath it all night.
The bank ran all night
Cut through the felt and this is what was happening under the game: every buy-in and rebuy logged the second chips moved, and a finish recorded for every seat. Chip Count refuses to settle a night whose bank does not balance. Try breaking it: change any finish on the right.
The night, as the bank saw it
Finishes, counted at the table
Steps of 25, like counting a black chip on or off. The settlement card up top and the towers on the table follow along. If the counted total stops matching the sold total, the bank says so and holds the payments, because that is the entire job.
Count your stack like the drawer does
Cashing out is where friendly games go wrong: tired eyes, quick math, somebody already in their coat. Count color by color instead. This is Jesse's stack from Friday, counted twice, once by Jesse and once by the drawer.
Nine Fridays in the vault
A home game is a season, not a night. The vault keeps every Friday: who is up, who owes a carried-over ten, and the standing argument about Tom's luck, settled with data nobody accepts.
| Player | Nights | Biggest win | Season |
|---|
Dana: First night ever that nobody texted "wait, I thought I bought in twice." Nine weeks in. Whatever this app costs, it is less than that group thread. Monday 9:14 AM
Marcus, host: I used to keep the bank in a Notes app and lose $20 a month to my own arithmetic. Now the bank stops me before the driveway. The $4 pays for itself in found black chips. Monday 9:16 AM
Tom: Down for the season, up on dignity. The vault says my luck is a rounding error and for once I have no comeback. Monday 9:31 AM
Free under 8 players
The Season Vault is $4 a month per club. The host pays; players never see a paywall at 1 AM with their coat on.
