ONE CLIP · THREE LANGUAGES · THIS WEEK
Dub the video. Keep the voice.
Dubslip translates your video's speech into other languages in the speaker's own voice, with the music and room sound left exactly where they were. This whole page is one job ticket: the clip at the top, the method in the fields, the price worked at the bottom. Switch the track and listen: same line, same kitchen sounds, new language.
"Welcome back. Today we're fixing the leak under the sink, step by step."The original take. Switch tracks above and play it again; your browser's voice stands in here, the product keeps the speaker's.
Field 01 · The job, step by step
Separate. Translate for meaning. Re-voice. Remix.
Split the mix. Speech is lifted off the music, ambience and sound effects. The bed is set aside untouched, which is why the dubbed version still sounds like the room it was filmed in.
Translate like a person would say it. Not word for word: idioms are traded for the ones the target language actually uses, and sentences are re-timed so they land inside the original pauses.
Re-voice in the speaker's voice. Tone, warmth and pace carry over. Shouting stays shouting; the aside stays an aside. It should sound like them on a multilingual day, not like a replacement.
Remix and hand back the files. Dubbed video, clean audio stems, captions in both languages and a transcript with timestamps, ready for whichever platform gets which.
Field 02 · Languages and fit
Twelve languages. Three honest warnings.
Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Arabic, Dutch and Polish, in both directions where it counts. A tutorial channel adding Spanish and Portuguese is the typical first job, and it is the one priced at the bottom of this ticket.
Dubs beautifully
- Tutorials, explainers, product demos, courses
- Podcasts and interviews with one voice at a time
- Documentary narration over real ambience
- Internal training that every region currently re-records
Flagged before you pay
- Songs: we dub speech. Sung lines are left original and captioned, unless you enjoy uncanny karaoke.
- Everyone shouting at once: overlapping voices separate badly everywhere; the ticket will say which minutes came back rough.
- Dense slang and wordplay: translated for the joke's job, not its letters, and jokes that refuse are listed for your call.
Field 03 · For builders
Or skip the form. POST the job.
The same ticket exists as an API: submit media, get a job number exactly like the one on this page, poll until the files land. Live translation for meetings and streams runs on the same rails, speech in, translated speech or captions out.

Field 04 · Proof of work
What comes back is checkable.
Every job returns the transcript in both languages with timestamps, so a bilingual human, or one brave reviewer with a dictionary, can audit any line in seconds. We would rather be checked than trusted.
"We dubbed forty-one repair videos into Spanish over a weekend. Our presenter watched herself, laughed once, and said: that is actually me, just better at Spanish than me. Views from Mexico passed the originals in a month."Loop & Wrench, a fix-it channel with a leaky-everything back catalog
On every ticket
- Dubbed video at source quality, loudness matched
- Voice and bed as separate stems
- Captions and transcript, both languages
- A flags list: songs, overlaps, jokes that refused
Never on the ticket
- Your voice model, kept for anyone else's job
- Training on your catalog without a signed yes
- Surprise line items: the rate is the rate is the rate
Field 05 · Price, worked in pencil
Minutes times languages times 45 cents.
The sink episode at the top of this ticket, all twenty-two minutes into Spanish and Portuguese, costs less than the wrench in it. A studio quote for the same job starts with a casting session. First ten minutes free, then the pencil math above, capped monthly if you ask us to cap it.
