You askedWhat is it?

You askedWhat's on the inside?
Nightfacts
Three small windows of light against the soft underside of your finger, and a temperature pad between them. Here it is on its charger by the bed, built to scale. Drag to turn it.
Ring Facts
You askedHas anyone actually worn one?
Nightfacts
212 people wore the beta ring for 90 nights each, last summer, in Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan. Here is their label, and what a few of them clipped to the shelf.

"I work nights at a hospital. Every other app told me I slept badly. This one told me what it couldn't see, and that's why I believe the rest."

Plain Sleep, a sleep newsletter
"The first ring I've tested that prints its own error bars. Six days on a charge, no fee, and a label your mom could read."

You askedHow did I sleep this week?
Nightfacts
Here is a sample week, worn by a made-up sleeper. Pick a night and its label reprints.

You askedWhy was Thursday so low?
Nightfacts
It can't see a drink or a late dinner. It only sees what they do to your heart and your skin. Change the evening and the night is run again from the raw signal.
Thursday evening
You askedShow me the raw numbers.
Nightfacts
Four things, read every minute. Drag across the night and see the rule that turned each minute into a stage.
Raw signal
You askedIs that what really happened?
Nightfacts
Not exactly. This demo made up the true night first, then the ring had to guess it from the signal, just as it would on your hand. Lay the truth over the guess.
Contains: estimates from light, motion and temperature at the base of one finger.
Does not contain: a diagnosis. Blood oxygen alerts. Blood pressure. What you ate or drank. Whether a bad night was stress or a cold coming on.
May contain: errors near waking up, when quiet lying awake looks like light sleep. A sleep lab still beats any ring.
Not medical advice. If your nights worry you, see a doctor, and take the labels with you if they help.
You askedWill it fit?
Nightfacts
It comes in US sizes 6 to 13. Wear it on your index finger; the sensors read best there. Find your size three ways.
Measure the base of the finger, not the knuckle. If it's a cold morning, measure again in the afternoon.
Inside diameter 18.1 mm.
Sizes from a jeweler run a little loose for a ring this thick. If you're between two, take the larger.

You askedWhat does it cost, and when does it ship?
Nightfacts
$299, once. A $49 deposit holds one in your size, and you can take it back any time before it ships. Try holding one. This is a demo: nothing is charged or sent.
Held for you
NF-0000Demo only. Nightfacts is invented, so no money moved and nothing was sent.
Taking it back. Your $49 comes back in full, any time before your ring ships, with one tap. No form and no reason needed.
If we're late. New hardware usually is. If your ring slips past its month, we write to you with the new date and the deposit stays yours to take back.
Not sure of your size? When you hold one we mail a free sizing kit: eight plastic rings to sleep in for a night. Change your size any time before it ships.
Why sizes ship in turns. Sizes 7 to 11 are most of the first batch. Sizes 6, 12 and 13 follow a month later, and the red finish after that.
You askedWho makes it, and where does my data go?
Nightfacts
Four people in Ohio who were tired of paying a monthly fee to read their own pulse. The ring does its sums on your phone, and the label is made there too.
We make money once, when you buy the ring. That is the whole business.
